The Baltazar Montoya is a newly formed group by bassist Baltazar Montoya who hopes to mix the old school of jazz playing with the newer school. In this sparse setting, one will hear the various influences (Traditional and Modern) of every player infused into an old jazz standard. Keeping true to the tradition of jazz improvisation, everything heard will be completely spontaneous according to how the players are feeling that night.
